State originally charged client as a felon for what was just a short bar fight with no injuries. Originally, the State was threatening to refile charges to a Ballot Measure 11 with mandatory prison time if he did not plead to the felony. Through persistent negotiation and witness statements, we were able to get client a misdemeanor with a short probationary sentence.
