Client was charged with brandishing a deadly weapon. He was facing what was potentially a minimum of 60 months prison if found guilty. At trial, defense was able to persuade the judge that the State did not submit sufficient evidence to match the new laws defining a deadly/dangerous weapon. The judge tossed the case and acquitted my client of all charges before it even went to the jury!
