Ballot Measure 11 Charge and all Felonies Acquitted at Trial
Client JEP was charged with one Ballot Measure 11 charge (guilty conviction would be mandatory 90 months prison), two other felonies and six misdemeanors. After a two-day trial, client was ultimately found not guilty on all felonies and acquitted on half of the misdemeanors. With the help of a private investigator, the Defense was able to show that a State’s witness had exaggerated some details when they reported the incident to police.
